Adding a Clearance to a Visit

You can add a Clearance to a Visit from the Visit Clearances tab (see Visit Clearances Tab).

Note: If you have set up and are using the Visitor Management Web Portal, and are using Visit Templates to provide the Clearances for Visits, changing the Clearances in a Visit Template used by the Web Portal will change the Clearances for Visits created through the Web Portal.If you add a Clearance to a Visit created through the Web Portal, and subsequently change a Clearance in the Visit Template the Visit was created from, the Clearance you added directly to the Visit will be overwritten by the changed Clearance in the Visit Template.
To Add a Clearance to a Visit
  1. Create a new Visit or access an existing one.
  2. Click the Visit Clearances tab.
  3. Click Add. A list of available Clearances appears.
  4. Select one or more Clearances from the list by clicking the check boxes.
  5. Click OK to confirm your selections.
  6. Click Save to save the Clearances, or Save and Close to save the Clearances and close the Visit editor.
    Note: If there are Visitors currently checked in to a Visit, you cannot change the Visit's Clearances - an error is displayed if you try to save changes.
