Finding a Visitor or Host

From the Visit General tab, you can use a Find button to locate Personnel records for Visitors and Hosts.

  • For the Visitors grid, you can click Find to open a dialog box that lists all Personnel of Personnel Type Visitor (or other Personnel Types that have Can Be Visitor enabled).
  • For the Hosts grid, you can click Find to open a dialog box that lists all Personnel that have the Can Host Visits option enabled.

To Find a Visitor

  1. Click Find in the Visitors grid on the Visit General tab.

    A Name Selection dialog box opens that lists all Personnel who have a Personnel Type with Can Be Visitor selected.

  2. Click the check box for each row you want to select and click OK.
  3. If you do not see the person whom you want to select as Visitor, click Cancel, then click New on the Visitor grid to create a new Visitor Personnel record for the Visitor.

To Find a Host

  1. Click Find in the Hosts grid on the Visit General tab.

    A Name Selection dialog box opens that lists all Personnel who have Can Host Visits enabled.

  2. Click the check box for each person you want to select as a host, then click OK.
  3. If you do not see the person whom you want to select as Visitor, click Cancel, then open the Personnel record for the person and enable Can Host Visits on the Personnel General tab Options area.
  4. Repeat this procedure to find and select additional Host(s) for the Visit.
