C•CURE Kiosk

C•CURE Kiosk is an iOS application that runs on iPads used as kiosks for visitor check-in and check-out. A C•CURE 9000 Operator logs on to C•CURE Kiosk and selects a check-in site configured with visit sites. When a visitor registers for a visit at a kiosk, C•CURE Kiosk notifies relevant hosts by email. When automatic check-in is enabled, C•CURE Kiosk checks visitors in automatically. For more information about automatically checking in visitors, see Check-in Site General tab.

If you enable a check-in site to take a photo of the Visitor during registration, the C•CURE Kiosk requests that the Visitor uses the C•CURE Kiosk application to take a photo. A photo is taken if the Visitor record is created at the time of the registration at the C•CURE Kiosk, or does not have a primary portrait specified.

The hosts of a Visit are automatically notified by email when a Visitor checks in for a Visit. If the AllowEmailVisitorPortrait System Variable is set to True, the notification email includes the portrait thumbnails from any Visitor personnel records that have a portrait thumbnail. To disable Visitor portraits in emails, see System Variables for the C•CURE Portal.

Note: The disablement of Visitor portraits is available in C•CURE 2.80 SP7 or later and 2.90 SP2 or later.

You can use the Personnel editor in the Administration Workstation to add a portrait thumbnail to a personnel record. For more information on adding images to personnel records, see the C•CURE 9000 Personnel Configuration Guide.

You can configure the C•CURE Kiosk to print Visitor labels upon check in. For more information on printing Visitor labels, see Printing Visitor labels from the C•CURE Kiosk.

Visitors identify themselves for a visit by entering their name or email in C•CURE Kiosk. You can also specify if the visitor must provide additional information, or accept an agreement such as an NDA, to complete visit registration. For more information about configuring data collection options, see Check-in Site General tab.

If you have enabled a Check-in Site to accept unregistered visitors, they can use C•CURE Kiosk to identify themselves. This creates a new visit record and a new visitor record in the partition of the Visit Site associated with the Kiosk, and the appropriate host is notified. For more information about configuring a Check-in Site to accept unregistered visitors, see Check-in Site General tab.

You can also specify the languages that a visitor can select when using C•CURE Kiosk to register a visit. For more information, see Enabling multiple languages in a Check-in Site.
