Managing Arriving Visitors for Unplanned Visits

If visitors arrive for an unplanned visit, you can create a Visit to keep track of their visit.

Procedures will differ for a given site, but typically an unplanned Visit will require:

Action See ...
  • A host for the visit is identified.

  • The potential host is contacted to ensure that they are willing and able to host the visit.

  • The host's Personnel record is modified to enable Can Host Visit. (If needed, may require Personnel administrative privileges.)

Refer to the Credentials section of the C•CURE 9000 Personnel Configuration Guide.

  • A Visit object is created, and the host is added to the Visit.

Creating a Visit

  • If Visitor Personnel records are available, add them to the Visit.

  • Or create new Visitor Personnel records.

  • Visitor Personnel records must have a Personnel Type of Visitor, or another Personnel Type that has Can Be Visitor enabled.
