Email Configuration
Use the Options and Tools to configure the following email fields:
- SMTP server name
- Email port
- Password
- Use SSL
For details on configuring email in C•CURE 9000, refer to the Configuring Email Settings section of the C•CURE 9000 System Maintenance Guide.
There is a default header, used only if the System Variable Web user welcome email header is blank. There is also a default footer, used only if the System Variable Web user welcome email footer is blank.
Note, in the message example below, text within <> is substituted as the message is being constructed.
The System Variable Web user welcome email subject line is used as the subject line for the registration Email to the Host.
If the subject line System Variable is blank, the default email subject is used: “Welcome to the Visitor Management Web Portal”.
The versions of email messages sent are:
- If the user is using a Windows Principal account - see Email to a Host with Windows Principal.
- If the user is using basic authentication - see Email to a Host with Basic Authentication.
- If the user's profile is modified to enable Access Management options - see Email to a Host with Access Management options enabled.
- Automatic email notifications to requesters and approvers regarding the status of access requests - see Automatic email notifications
