Access Management System Concepts

This section provides an explanation of how the C•CURE Portal Access Management system and C•CURE 9000 work together to manage access requests, approvals and clearances as part of an access management workflow.

There are two roles available to users in the Access Management system:

• Access Requester
• Access Approver

Requesters use the Access Requester application to create and submit clearance requests, and approvers use the Access Approver application to approve or reject requests, as well as audit previous clearance assignments.

Permission to use an application is based on whether the person has requester or approver permissions enabled in their Personnel profile. See Enabling access to the C•CURE Portal.
