Visitor Management System Concepts

This section provides an explanation of how the C•CURE Portal and C•CURE 9000 Visitor Management work together to create and manage visits.

The following image shows how the Host uses the C•CURE Portal to set up Visits.

Callout Description
1 The Host registers for access to the C•CURE Portal and uses either basic or Windows authentication to log on. The Host clicks Visitor Management. For more information about sign-on authentication, refer to the C•CURE IIS Authentication and Single Sign-On User Guide.
2 The Host selects a Visit Site from those available.
Note: To avoid time zone inconsistencies, the Visit Site selected must have the same time zone settings as the time zone of the Host's browser.
3 The Host searches for an existing Visit or creates a new visit from a visit template.
4 The Host adds Visitors, other Hosts, instructions, additional details, or documents to the Visit.
5 The Host saves the Visit. Visitors and Hosts receive a Visit notification email.
