Forgot Password

If you access the Web Portal using basic authenticationbasic authentication, you can request to reset a forgotten password on the login screen.

If you are using Windows Authentication, you need to contact your Windows Administrator to reset a password.

  1. On the login screen, click FORGOT PASSWORD.
  2. Enter the email address that is assigned to your Personnel record in C•CURE 9000.
  3. Click Send Request.
  4. If you have not already registered, or if your email address is not recognized by the C•CURE 9000 server as valid (assigned to a Host), an error message displays. You can enter a different email address.
  5. You can attempt to enter a different Email Address.
  6. If your Email address is recognized (which means an administrator has entered it into the C•CURE 9000 database), the system sends you a link you can use to reset your password.
  7. If your email address is recognized, the system sends you a C•CURE Portal Registration email with a link that you can use to reset your password. The link expires after one hour.
  8. On the Reset Password screen, in the Email Address field, enter your email address.
  9. In the New Password field, enter a new password. You can only change the password if the new password is strong.
  10. In the Confirm Password field, re-enter the password.
  11. Click APPLY.
