Forgot Password
If you access the Web Portal using basic authenticationbasic authentication, you can request to reset a forgotten password on the login screen.
If you are using Windows Authentication, you need to contact your Windows Administrator to reset a password.
- On the login screen, click FORGOT PASSWORD.
- Enter the email address that is assigned to your Personnel record in C•CURE 9000.
- Click Send Request.
- If you have not already registered, or if your email address is not recognized by the C•CURE 9000 server as valid (assigned to a Host), an error message displays. You can enter a different email address.
- You can attempt to enter a different Email Address.
- If your Email address is recognized (which means an administrator has entered it into the C•CURE 9000 database), the system sends you a link you can use to reset your password.
- If your email address is recognized, the system sends you a C•CURE Portal Registration email with a link that you can use to reset your password. The link expires after one hour.
- On the Reset Password screen, in the Email Address field, enter your email address.
- In the New Password field, enter a new password. You can only change the password if the new password is strong.
- In the Confirm Password field, re-enter the password.
- Click APPLY.
