Logging on to C•CURE Portal

  1. Open your browser and navigate to the location of the C•CURE Portal.

    This is typically http://<machinename>/ccureportal/

Where <machinename> is the name or IP address of your IIS webserver.

(Unless the site administrator changed the URL in the Visitor Management System Variables. See System Variables for the C•CURE Portal.)

Note: If the site administrator has enabled SSL Encryption for the victor Web Service (and thus for the Web Portal), the URL is typically: https://<machinename>/ccureportal/.

See Enabling SSL Encryption for the C•CURE Portal.

  2. On the C•CURE Portal logon screen, you can log on using one of the following options:
    1. If you are configured in C•CURE 9000 for basic authentication, use the email address that is assigned to your Personnel record in C•CURE 9000 and your user-defined password.
    2. If you are configured in C•CURE 9000 for Windows Authentication, use the email address that is assigned to your Personnel record in C•CURE 9000 and a matching Windows password.
Note: If you use your Windows principal account name to try and log on, the logon fails.
    3. If you are configured in C•CURE 9000 for SSO, click the Log in with Auth button and type the user name and password assigned to an auth user. For more information, refer to the C•CURE IIS Authentication and Single Sign-On User Guide.
  3. If you are a new user with basic authentication or single sign-on (SSO), click Register to add your information to the system. See Registering to access the Visitor Management web portal. Users with Windows Authentication do not need to register.
  4. Optional: Click Forgot Password if you have forgotten your Basic authentication password. See Forgot Password. Users with Windows Authentication who have forgotten the password should contact their Windows system administrator.
  5. Click Log in.
