Visit Event Action - Check Visitors Out from Partition

You can configure an Event with an action that automatically checks out Visitors from a partition. This action is used with an Event that has a schedule that triggers a periodic check-out. For more information on Event actions that automatically check out all Visitors in all partitions, see Visit Event Action - Check Visitors Out.

You can either:
  • Check out visitors from all visits in a selected partition

    -or-

  • Check out visitors with the time zone of the Event, provided you have assigned a time zone to it

For every Visitor currently checked in to the selected partition, the Event action checks out the Visitor, disables their visitor credential, and removes any Clearances they were assigned in association with their Visit.

  1. From the Configuration pane drop-down menu, select Event and click New to open the Event editor.
  2. Enter a name for the Event in the Name field and click the Enabled check box.
  3. In the General tab, in the Activate on Schedule field, click the menu button and choose an appropriate Schedule.
    Note: If you cannot find an appropriate Schedule, click the down arrow button and select Edit to open the Schedule editor and configure and save a new Schedule. You can also access the Schedule editor by selecting the Schedule option in the Configuration pane drop-down menu.
  4. In the In Time Zone field, click the menu button and choose the time zone applying to the Schedule.
    Note: If you do not apply a time zone, Schedules will operate in the local time zone of the location of your C•CURE server or client web browser.
  5. In the Action tab, click Add.
  6. In the Action column, choose Check Visitors Out from Partition from the drop-down list.
  7. In the Visit Partition field, click the menu button and select the partition you want the Schedule to apply to.
  8. Select either:
    • Check-out visitors from all visits in the selected partition

      -or-

    • Check-out visitors from visits with the Time Zone of this Event
  9. Click Save and Close to save the Event.

    Example:

    If you choose the system Schedule Nightly, all Visitors in the selected partition would be checked out by this Event at 2:17 AM every night.
