Visit Event Action - Check Visitors Out
You can configure an Event with an action that automatically checks out Visitors that are currently checked-in. This action is used with an Event that has a schedule that triggers a periodic check-out. For example, the Nightly schedule checks Visitors out at the end of business hours.
- Check out visitors from all visits in all partitions
- Check out visitors with the time zone of the Event, provided you have assigned a time zone to it

For every Visitor currently checked in, the Event action checks out the Visitor, disables their visitor credential, and removes any Clearances they were assigned in association with their Visit.
- To open the Event editor, from the Configuration pane drop-down menu, select Event and click New.
- In the Name field, enter a name for the Event.
- Select the Enabled check box.

In the General tab, in the Activate on Schedule field, click the menu
button and choose an appropriate Schedule.
Note: If you cannot find an appropriate Schedule, click the down arrow button and select Edit to open the Schedule editor and configure and save a new Schedule. You can also access the Schedule editor by selecting the Schedule option in the Configuration pane drop-down menu.

In the In Time Zone field, click the menu button and
choose the time zone applying to the Schedule.
Note: If you do not apply a time zone, Schedules will operate in the local time zone of the location of your C•CURE server or client web browser.
- In the Action tab, click Add.
- In the Action column, choose Check Visitors Out from the drop-down list.

Select one of the following options:
- Check-out visitors from all visits in all partitions
- Check-out visitors from visits with the Time Zone of this Event

To save the Event, click Save and
Close.
Example:
If you choose the system Schedule Nightly, all Visitors are checked out by this Event at 2:17 AM every night.
You can view the results of your Event by viewing Visit Journal Messages.
