Visitors

  • A Host can see and modify only Personnel records where the Personnel Type where the option Can be Visitor is selected.
  • Host viewing and modification access to Visitors is limited by Partition as follows:
    • The Host can see Visitors who reside in the Default Partition specified in the Visit Site.
    • If the Visit Site does not specify a Default Partition, the Host can see Visitors who reside in the Partition in which the Visit Site resides.
    • A Host who is allowed to access multiple Visit Sites can add Visitors who reside in the Partition of any of these Visit Sites to any Visit they host or create.
  • When viewing an existing Visit, a Host is allowed to see all Visitors already assigned to the visit. This means that a Host can potentially see some Visitors that they cannot view details, edit, remove, or add.
  • When new Visitors are created, they are created in the partition specified by the Default Visitor Partition field in the Visit Site associated with the Visit being edited.

If the Default Visitor Partition field is empty, new Visitors are created in the partition of the associated Visit Site. See Visit Site Editor General Tab.

  • Any Visitor who can added to a Visit can be modified or removed from a Visit.
  • For the Visitor, only the Personnel fields contained in the Visit Site associated with this Visit can be seen and edited.

Example:

Host A is added to a Visit created by Host B. Some of the Visitors added by Host B reside in a Partition that Host A cannot access. Host A cannot view/edit details of those Visitors, and cannot remove or add such Visitors.

If Host A adds new Visitors to the Visit, the Visitors will be created in the Default Visitor Partition of the Visit Site, unless this field is blank, in which case the new Visitors are created in the Partition where the Visit Site resides.
