Check-in Site Messages tab
Use the Check-in Site Messages tab to define the instructions that display in the C•CURE Kiosk application when visitors register for a visit. You can enter your own customized messages, each with a limit of 500 characters. If you do not type text for a message, a default message displays. If you enable self check-in or self-check out, you can also include messages here.
You can also use the Messages tab to specify the language that a visitor can select when using the C•CURE Kiosk application.
- All default messages are translated. Translation of custom messages is done manually in the Check-in Site editor. If you choose to type a custom message, ensure that it is typed in the language that you select from the Language list.

If you decide to customize default messages, ensure that they contain instructions that are relevant to your own visitor check-in procedures.

Use Language in the Kiosk |
Select this check box to enable the language selected in the Language drop down. If this check box is selected, the language appears as a language option for visitor selection in the C•CURE Kiosk. Clear this check box if you want to disable the language selected in the Language drop down. If this check box is cleared, the language does not appear as a language option for visitor selection in the C•CURE Kiosk. When you select a different language from the Language drop down, the check box clears until you select it again to enable a different language. |
'Welcome' Message |
The welcome message displayed on the homepage of C•CURE Kiosk. If you leave this field blank, the default message displayed is: Please touch the start button to begin. |
'Visit not found' Message |
The message displayed on the C•CURE Kiosk if:
If you leave this field blank, the default message displayed is: We're sorry, we could not find a registration for your visit today. Please contact your host for assistance. |
'Automatic Check-in Completed' Message |
The message displayed on the C•CURE Kiosk when the visitor has completed registration. This option is configured for the Check-in site selected in the C•CURE Kiosk application and causes the Visitor Management System to automatically check-in the visitor at the end of the registration at the C•CURE Kiosk. If you leave this field blank, the following message displays: Thank you. You have been successfully checked in. Please wait for your host to arrive. |
'Registration Completed' Message |
The message displayed on the C•CURE Kiosk after the visitor completes the registration process. If you leave this field blank, the following message displays: Thank you. You have been successfully registered. Please see the receptionist for check-in. |
