Check-in Site General tab definitions

Table 1. Check-in Site General tab definitions
Field/Button Description
Time Zone Click the three-dot menu icon to choose a time zone for the check-in site.
Note: Ideally, choose the same time zone for a check-in site as its visit sites. If a check-in site and visit site use different time zones, the check-in site editor displays a warning, but you can still save the check-in site.
Add Add a row to the Visit Sites fields table.

You can assign an unlimited number of visit sites to a check-in site. C•CURE 9000 assumes that all visit sites selected for a single check-in site can be accessed through the same location as the C•CURE Kiosk device.

Note: You can select only visit sites that have the same time zone as the check-in site.
Note: After you configure a check-in site, if you modify the Time Zone parameter of a Visit Site that is managed by this Check-in site, the Time Zones of the sites might not match. If you modify a site's Time Zone, ensure that you verify the consistency of the existing check-in sites and their Visit Sites.
Remove Click a row in the Visit Sites fields table and click the Remove button to remove the visit site from the check-in site.
Name Select the check box to enable identification by name when scheduled visitors use the C•CURE Kiosk device to check in to the visit site.

The Name check box is selected by default. If you clear the Name check box, the Email check box automatically selects so that check-in sites require at least one form of visitor identification.

Email Select the check box to enable identification by email when scheduled visitors use the C•CURE Kiosk device to check in to the visit site.
Take Visitor's Portrait If you select the check box, the C•CURE Kiosk device asks the visitor to take a portrait photo during registration.

The C•CURE Kiosk device takes a photo through the C•CURE Kiosk application. A photo is taken if the visitor record is created at the time the visitor registers at the C•CURE Kiosk device, or if the visitor record does not specify a primary portrait.

Allow Self Check-in at Kiosk If you select the check box, visitors can use the C•CURE Kiosk device to check in after they have registered for a visit.

Example:

If the physical location of the visit has no receptionist, you can select this option so that visitors can check themselves in and visit hosts are notified.

Accept Unregistered Visitors Select the check box for the C•CURE Kiosk device to accept check-in for:
  • Visitors that have no visit or visitor record. C•CURE Kiosk creates a new visit and visitor record for that visitor.

  • Visitors with a visitor record, but no visit scheduled. C•CURE Kiosk creates a new visit record for that visitor.

Visit records are created at the time the unregistered visitor checks in with the C•CURE Kiosk device.

If you select the check box, visit and visitor records are created in the C•CURE 9000 database in the partition associated with the partition of the visit site associated with the visit.

Allow Self Check-out at Kiosk If you select the check box, visitors can use the C•CURE Kiosk device to check out when they are leaving a visit.
Require Exact Match for Host Email If you select the check box, the visitor must enter the exact email address of the host for their visit in order to find the host.
Number of Invalid Search Attempts Type the number of times a visitor can incorrectly search for their host before the C•CURE Kiosk device locks.
Kiosk Lockout Time (min) Type the number of minutes the C•CURE Kiosk device locks for after the specified number of times the visitor incorrectly searches for their host.
Require accepting the agreement (NDA or similar document) Click three-dot icon to select a document that the visitor will have to accept at the C•CURE Kiosk device in order to register. Use DELETE or BACKSPACE buttons to remove the selected document.

If a document is selected, C•CURE Kiosk shows this document for each visitor that uses the C•CURE Kiosk device. The visitor must acknowledge acceptance of the document by selecting a check box on the device screen.
