Configuring Visitor Setup for a Visit Site

You use the General tab to define the way that new Visitors are created on the Visit Web Portal for this Visit Site.

To Configure Visitor Setup for a Visit Site
  1. Open the Visit Site Editor General tab.
  2. Click select-button.png in the Default Visitor Partition field to choose a system Partition in which the new Visitors will be created. (This is not a mandatory field. If you do not select a Partition, the Visitors will be created in the Visit Site's Partition.)
  3. Click select-button.png in the Visitor Template field to choose a Personnel template that will be used to create the new Visitors. Only templates with the Personnel Type of 'Visitor' can be selected. (This field is not mandatory.)

Alternatively, you can create a new Visitor Template from the Name Selection form by clicking the drop-arrow on create-visitor.png and choosing Template from the context menu.

  4. Click Add in the Visit Templates list to add a Visit template with its particular assigned Clearances to this Visit site.
  5. When the Name Selection list opens, click to select one or more templates and then click OK. The selected templates are added to the Visit Templates list with their descriptions.

Alternatively, click the drop-arrow on create-new-visit-template.png to create a new Visit Template. The Visit editor opens so you can create a new template. When you save the Visit Template, it will be available to select from the Name Selection list.

  6. Click Active Fields.
  7. Use the Visitor Fields list to define the Personnel fields that will display in the Visit Web application when the Host adds or edits a Visitor for the Visit Site.

Last Name, First Name, and Email Address always appear in the list, and Last Name is always a mandatory field for a Visitor on a Visit Site.

    1. Click Add to add a new Personnel field row and then click select-button.png in the Field Name field.
    2. Click to choose the desired Personnel field from the selection list that opens. The field is entered in the row with its description in the Description field.
    3. Repeat Steps a and b to select all the Personnel fields you wish (including User-defined Fields).
    4. Click to select the Is Mandatory check box for any field you want to require the entry of a value in the Web Portal Visitor editor.

(Making a field Mandatory in this context does not mean that the field will be required in the Personnel Editor within C•CURE 9000 - these settings are for the Web Portal Visitor editor only.)

    5. Use the Up and Down arrows to arrange the fields in the order in which you want them to display on the Visit Web Portal.
  8. Use the Visit Additional Details list to define the Visit UDFs that will display in the Additional Details section in the Visit Web application when the Host adds or edits a Visitor for the Visit Site.
