Add a Visitor

When you create or edit a Visit, you can perform the following actions:

  • Add a Visitor to the Visit
  • Create a new Visitor
  • Edit an existing Visitor

A screenshot of the New Visit screen. The Visitors area at the end of the page is highlighted.
In the Visitors area, in the Add a Visitor field, you can enter the visitor’s name or email address. As you type a Visitor name, a list of potentially matching Visitors opens and you can choose from the list. An option to create a new visitor also appears, and you can select that to add a new Visitor. The portal validates that the email address is unique to the system when you submit the Visitor record.
Note:
  • Search results might vary, depending on the visit sites that the host can access.
  • In an Enterprise environment, if the visit host has access to at least one visit site that has a Global Partition as the Default Visitor Partition, they view visitors from that global partition. Hosts can add any visitors that they can view to a visit.
  • You cannot assign visitors that are local to different SAS servers to the same visit.
