Assigning Hosts to a Visit Site

Use the Hosts tab to assign the Hosts who can use this Visit Site on the Visit Web Portal.

Only personnel who have the Option field Can Host Visit enabled can be assigned as a Host. If Can Host Visit is cleared, that person cannot access the Web Portal to Host visits.

  1. In the Visit Site editor, on the Hosts tab.
  2. Select the Allow All Hosts check box to permit all Hosts from all partitions in the system to use the visit Site.
  3. Select the Allow All Hosts from Partition <Name> check box to permit only Hosts in the Visit Site partition to use the visit site. If the Visit Site is moved to another partition, the value of <name> changes.
  4. Select the Custom Selection List check box to customize which Hosts can use the Visit Site.

    When you select this option, the Add button and the Custom Selection list on the bottom of the tab become available.

  5. Click Add.
  6. In the Name Selection dialog box, in the Select Type field, click the Menu icon to open the Select Type list with two object types: Partition and personnel.
    1. Select Partition type to select Hosts from one or more of the system partitions to assign to this Visit Site.
    2. On the Partition Selection list, select one or more partitions, and click OK.

      The selected partitions are displayed in the Custom Selection list.

  7. Click Add and on the Select Type list, in the Select Type field, click the Menu icon and select Personnel Type.
  8. From the Personnel Selection list, select the specific personnel who can be Hosts for this Visit Site and click OK. Only personnel who have the Can Host Visits option selected in their personnel record are included in the selection list.

    The selected personnel are displayed in the Custom Selection list.

  9. Choose between the following options:
    • To save your Host entries, click Save and Close.
    • To save the Host entries and create a new Visitor site, click Save and New.
    • To create a copy of the current Visit Site with Host entries, click Create Copy .
