Creating a visit

You can create a Visit object from the C•CURE Portal pane using the C•CURE Portal pane drop-down list and the New button for the object type.

Note: Visits that you create in the Administration Station must have unique names. Visits that you create in the Visitor Management application in C•CURE Portal can have duplicate names, but these visits must have different start times. In C•CURE 9000, the visit created in the Visitor Management application displays the start time for the visit at the end of the visit name.
  1. To open the C•CURE Portal pane, in the Navigation pane of the Administration Workstation, click C•CURE Portal.
  2. In the C•CURE Portal pane, select Visit from the drop-down list.
  3. To create a new Visit object, click New. The Visit editor opens.
  4. In the Visit editor, you can configure the object by adding visit start and end dates, Visitors, Hosts and instructions.

  5. On the Clearances tab, add clearances to the visit.
  6. On the Documents tab, attach documents to a visit.
  7. On the Status tab, view the status of a visit, check-in Visitors, and check-out Visitors.
  8. On the User-defined Fields tab, provide additional custom information about the visit.
  9. Choose between the following options:
    • To save your new object, click Save and Close.
    • To save the object and then create a new one, click Save and New.
    • To create a copy of the current visit object, click Create Copy .
    • To save the current visit and check-in the Visitor, click Save and Check in. See The Check In Visitors screen for more information.
